Dr. Phil Diet: The truth about the self help guru.
The main problem with relying on the expertiece and
motivation of a diet guru is that they are attempting
to supply you with that motivation. Most of us have common sense.
If you want to lose weight and keep it off, start eating healthy and
force yourself to exercise daily. If you can’t do that on your own,
it is unlikely some guru is going to motivate you to do so in the
long-term.
Dr. Phil has done a curious thing with his weight
loss program recently, by pushing supplements and other add-on products
to the basics of his diet. Stick to his no-nonsense books
and forget about all the rest of what he is trying to sell you.
